Spectacular Marble Work of Art
The master bath of a New Jersey mansion remodeled by architect Annabelle Selldorf and designer Matthew Frederick features a Knoll Mies van der Rohe chair and a Boffi tub filler, among other pieces.
Bathtub with a View of the Fire
A vintage T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Klismos chair and footstool are featured in the master bath of Thomas O’Brien and Dan Fink’s Long Island home, which is finished in Calacatta marble.
The lighting, designed by Thomas O’Brien for Visual Comfort, and the tub and fixtures, manufactured by Waterworks, complete the room.
The Manhattan Master Bath is just stunning
The master bath in a Manhattan townhouse refurbished by Sawyer | Berson is encased in cipollino marble and furnished with a circa-1940 hanging light, which makes us feel approximately ten times more glamorous simply by gazing at it.
Bathroom with a Golden Aspen theme
The centerpiece of the master bath in an Aspen, Colorado, home designed by Shawn Henderson and architect Scott Lindenau is a custom-made Japanese soaking tub with Dornbracht fittings, which was commissioned by the owners. The walls are paneled with limestone from the Yangtze River.
The room is light and airy
During the construction of a Hudson Valley property designed by architect Toshiko Mori, the plentiful light draws attention to all the beautiful fittings and fixtures in the bathroom.
Taking a Bath with a View
Aspen, Colorado’s open-air washroom offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and is yet another of our favorite bathroom design inspirations. It was designed by architects Bohlin Cywinski Jackson and Shelton, Mindel & Assoc., and we are so envious that we have ran out of things to say.
A Spectacular Evening
An antiqued-mirror wall and a silver-leafed ceiling by craftsman Maureen Lyttle add sparkle to the master bath of a Minneapolis home designed by Michael S. Smith; the chandelier is a circa-1930 design by Elsa Schiaparelli for Baguès, and the tub fittings are by P. E. Guerin.
Simplicity Bathroom Design Ideas
The subway tile, tub, and fixtures in the master bath of a Martha’s Vineyard home designed by Ashe + Leandro have us rethinking subway tile.
