Portal de Hoje is always looking for new ways to reach its customers, and they found it in text messages! The company offers a mobile messaging program where they send participants marketing or non-marketing text messages, as described in these “Terms.”

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY — THESE TERMS ESTABLISH THE LEGALLY BINDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS BETWEEN YOU AND Portal de Hoje GOVERNING YOUR USE AND PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM. BY OPTING TO RECEIVE SMS MESSAGES FROM US, YOU INDICATE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREED TO THESE TERMS; IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OR DO NOT CONSENT TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES IN THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING TEXT MESSAGES MADE WITH AN AUTODIALER, DO NOT ACCEPT THE PROGRAM.

  1. Eligibility

To enroll in the Program or otherwise receive text messages from us as part of the program, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, authorized to register the mobile phone number in the Program, and authorized to incur any data charges or mobile messages incurred by participation. Portal de Hoje reserves the right to require you to prove the above to participate in the Program.

  1. Message Description

Our company will communicate by sending you opportunities for credit card options, loans, news, and financial tips, among other “marketing messages” based on your profile.

  1. Service Delivery Frequency or Recurring Message Disclosure

The number of text messages you receive varies depending on how many Portal de Hoje text message programs you enroll in to receive messages. You will receive at least one message per day per text message program of the Company.

  1. Privacy

Any personally identifiable information provided or collected through or in connection with your participation and/or use of the Program shall be used in accordance with Portal de Hoje’s privacy policy.

  1. Opt-In Process

The Program allows participants to receive SMS text messages by affirmatively opting into the Program, such as through online forms or during the registration of an account to access the Service. By participating in the Program, you agree to receive prerecorded or automatically dialed mobile marketing messages on the phone number associated with your opt-in, and you understand that your consent to receive test messages and/or opt-in to the Program is not necessary to make any purchase from us. To stop receiving text messages from Portal de Hoje, send “STOP” to the number from which you are receiving the applicable Marketing Messages and/or Service Communications.

You may receive an additional mobile message confirming your decision to opt out. You understand and agree that the aforementioned options are the only reasonable methods of cancellation. You also understand and agree that any other method of deactivation, including but not limited to, text messages with words different from those specified above or verbal requests from one of our employees to remove you from our list, is not a reasonable means of deactivation.

  1. Fee Disclosure

Portal de Hoje does not impose a separate fee for sending Portal de Hoje text messages in the Program. However, standard message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with Portal de Hoje text messages, as provided in your mobile phone service rate plan (please contact your mobile phone carrier for pricing plans).

  1. Warranty Disclaimer

THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” “WHERE IS,” AND WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, WRITTEN, ORAL, OR ARISING FROM TRADE USAGE OR CUSTOM.

  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Portal de Hoje reserves the right to update or modify these SMS Terms and Conditions at any time. All updates and modifications to these Terms will become effective on the day they are posted online. If you do not agree to any updates or modifications to these Terms, you should cancel the text message program as established in Section 6.

  1. Termination of Text Messages

The Company may suspend or terminate your receipt of text messages from the Company if the Company believes that you have violated these SMS Terms and Conditions. Receipt of text messages from the Company is also subject to termination if your mobile phone service is terminated or expires. The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of the Company’s text messages, with or without prior notice.
