The mantis shrimp has the world’s fastest punch, which may surprise some people who believe that boxers have the most spectacular jabs, hooks, and uppercuts on the planet.

Science reports that when a shrimp punches, its fist of fury accelerates faster than a.22-caliber bullet, due to the shrimp’s travel speed of approximately 50 miles per hour.

Female lions are responsible for 90 percent of all hunting

While male lions receive plenty of attention because of their spectacular manes, it is the female lions that are responsible for the most of the effort when it comes to providing for their families.

According to the author, “lionesses hunt approximately 90 percent of the time, while the males preserve their pride.”

As for domesticated cats, the earliest proof of their existence dates back 9,500 years

Cats have also been a part of human society for thousands of years, as well. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, humans have been domesticating cats for 9,500 years.

The evidence for this was provided in 2004 when the bones of a cat were discovered in the neolithic settlement of Shillourokambos, on the island of Cyprus, during excavations.

When the cat was buried in the earth, it was adjacent to the bones of a human, which were in a comparable state of preservation.

which clearly suggests that they were buried together.
